Abstract
Abstract. Introduction. Еlliptic monopredicative utterances with verbal key lexeme are considered in this paper as compressed co(n)textually pertinent one-basic (with one terminal chain) transforms of primary monopredicative proposition, which appear as a result of phenomenological reconstruction of existence and of its structures and categories according to this scheme: sense perception of phenomena and events of objective reality → cognitive operations of construction of «sublinguistic schemes» on the model of which numerous structures are formed at the subconscious level of language → сreation of primary propositions → formation of secondary reduced transforms (on the surface layer of language) realized in discourse in the form of preferential options.
Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the syntactical and semantic peculiarities of synonymic verbal monopredicative utterances of modern French fiction, to identify their primary structure and to determine the level of co(n)textual pertinence of each member of virtual (linguistic) synonymic series.
Methods. The primary proposition of synonymic discourse innovations is defined by the medium of inverse reconstruction and «alternative» linguistic experiment that consists of artificial substitution of the actualized construction by the synonymic utterance of one functionally-semantic macrofield allows to prove co(n)textual adequacy of each microfield.
Results. Verbal monopredicative utterances which are most often characterized by conclusive semantic meaning represent reduced procedural or resultative elliptic discourse innovations: а) with іnitial іmplication of active or demiactive actant and with partial or complete explication of predicate; b) with medial іmplication of postverbal adverbial component pas; c) with final іmplication of indirect object. In the infinitive synonymic constructions with medial ellipsis the change of linguistic incidence mode (semantic nucleus ≠ syntactical nucleus) is observed, that is, a new referent-personal predicate is focalized.
Сonclusion. Elliptic monopredicative utterances with verbal key lexeme that represent compressed synonymic transforms of the monopredicative primary proposition are actualized by the speaker for the purpose of avoiding the co(n)textual reactualization of equivalent referents and to convey the affective state or to focus attention of the addressee on some action of the protagonist of the story. In perspective polysynonymic mono- and polypredicative utterances with elliptic components will be studied.
