Abstract
Abstract. The specificity of determining the evaluative component in the semantic structure of the phraseological unit is analyzed in the article. The main features that should be considered when translating are identified. The connotative macro component of the values of the estimated phraseological units is characterized. In the course of the research it was found that in determining the evaluation of the FU, the most reliable criteria are the following: component composition criterion, extra-lingual, semantic, vocabulary tagging system, reception of identifying evaluation indicators. The basis of any estimation is the intellectual (logical) approach. The conformity of the object of evaluation with the stereotypes in the recipient's mind causes a positive evaluation, and the non-compliance with the stereotypes.
The article deals with the detection of the evaluative component in the composition of the values of FU. It is carried out in the analysis of the system of vocabulary tags (mainly FU, belonging to the sphere of negative evaluation), as well as in the analysis of "indicators of (negative) evaluation", which are adjective components (rarely adverbs) that occupy the position of the definition and are used steadily in the affective function. Adjectives almost always become evaluative, possessing, in addition, a category of intensity, which generally creates a special expressive effect. It is necessary to note the fact that the differences between the plans of pejoratively and stylistic reduction: negative evaluation is inherent in a wide range of stylistically neutral FU.
The article highlights some tendencies of the evaluative macro component carries information about what is reflected in the denotative content of phraseology. This statement is correct with regard to positive evaluation.
The obtained results in the article can serve as the basis for further studying the specificity of the category of phraseology in the process of translation.
Valuable phraseological units are those in the meaning of which contains a specific assessment of any fact or phenomenon of reality, as well as the behavior or condition of the person. In determining the evaluation of the composition of the most reliable criteria are the following: the criterion of component composition, extra linguistic, semantic, system of vocabulary tags, the reception of identifying indicators of evaluation.
However, the process of developing a unified system for the classification of emotional tags in English dictionaries by linguists to determine whether or not vocabulary labels belong to a negative or positive evaluation and will certainly help to formulate a unified approach to distinguish between functional and stylistic markers.
