LAND RESOURCES USE BY AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The role and place of land in agricultural production are researched in the article. It is characterized by physico-chemical and biological properties of soils through which crop harvest formes. The differences in these parameters on different plots of land influence on different soil quality, which affects the pricing and value of land resources.
The calculations of necessary funds to ensure the crops production for scientifically based recommendations in various natural-climatic zones are made and summary data reflected in the article.
The study analyzed 6525 agricultural enterprises (excluding farms), of which 899 were from Polissya climatic zone, 2657 - Forest-steppe and 2969 - Steppe zone.
The process maps which take into account used the latest technology for growing crops and climatic conditions of Ukraine were used as a basis of the calculation.
The need of capital to ensure the planned production volume of wheat grain is about 14 billion UAH. From this amount 7.4 billion UAH is need agricultural enterprises in Steppe zone, 5.4 billion UAH - in Forest-steppe and 1.3 billion UAH - in Polissya.
The need of seeds to perform the required technological operations worth about 1.3 billion UAH, fertilizers - 1.9 billion UAH, plant protection products - 789.3 million UAH and lubricants - 2.8 billion UAH.
The calculations to determine the efficiency and need of resource are made for the future for other crops.
Full implementation of ways to improve land relations could provide rational, highly effective and ecologically agricultural land use, conservation and enhancement of their productive capacity.

The development of effective land use will have a significant positive impact on the economic efficiency of agricultural production increase and the internal agricultural market functioning. As a result, important conditions will be created to improve the availability of food for consumers and satisfaction of their needs. Provision of demand will boost the development of production and the producers profitability increase.
