In conditions of military use of artillery units, the importance of accuracy and efficiency of target defeat increases. It is important for land, self-propelled and reactive artillery fire units as well. The accuracy of the target damage, among other parameters, is influenced by correctness and timeliness ballistic corrections. One of them is correction for the ammunition charges temperature. The determination of the artillery munitions charges temperature discussed in the article as one of ballistic preparation procedure components. In previous articles author has proposed a new method for determining the temperature of charge, which is based on the use of differential dependencies describing the processes of heat exchange between the ammunition charge and the environment. The proposed method allows determining the charges temperature, just before the shooting and automatically entering the temperature data into the shooting data preparation system. In this article considered the possibility of simplifying this method implementation, due to use the heat conduction equation approximate solution, which will reduce the time expenditures for units preparation to the combat task.
