Despite the small number of parks in Khmelnytsky, literary sources practically do not cover the issues of their status and floral structure. The objects of research are six parks, which differ in their functional purpose. Most parks were created in the post-war years. The general scientific, floristic and mathematical-statistical methods of research are used. In this work the modern state of the parks of the city of Khmelnytsky is investigated, in particular their biomorphological and floristic structure. The predominance of deciduous trees and shrubs is established, and coniferous plants and vines make up a small proportion. An exception is the Podillia arboretum, whose flora is represented by 150 taxa, the rest of the parks have a rather limited species diversity. The largest number of specimens are weeping birch, common ash, small-leafed linden, maple, chestnut, poplar black, european hornbeamand others. Attention is drawn to the lack of care for plantations, which is manifested in the presence of dead and dying trees, the spread of undergrowth and low-value vegetation, the lack of amenities and small architectural forms in parks. Conservation, restoration and reconstructive measures are proposed to optimize the park environment.
