The article presents the results of work on the creation of a registration database for enterprises engaged in the production of organic crop production. The need for such work is due to modern requirements for the complex collection of information and its presentation in the form of geospatial data.
It is shown that to solve this problem it is advisable to use ArcGIS - a family of software products for creating and supporting GIS of different levels and purposes, built on the basis of computer industry standards, including the use of the programming language and the extension of COM.NET, Java, XML, SOAP, supporting common standards, the flexibility of the proposed solutions, wide interaction possibilities.
The aim of the work is to create an optimally-filled registration database for enterprises engaged in organic production, taking into account the precise and qualitative assessment of land and compliance with the requirements of organic certification.
Using ArcGis allowed to create and configure access to maps, layers, shapefiles, applications, analytics and data. The software optimized the online operation while simultaneously expanding the functionality of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise.
A tool package, selected to create a registration database for organic enterprises, can fully replace the paper storage format of information. The information base is supplemented by the current legislative and regulatory acts, statistical and analytical materials of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, State Institution "Institute for Soil Protection of Ukraine".
The created information system will allow to calculate the reporting indicators, compare them with similar ones for the previous periods, reflect visually positive or negative dynamics, warn about "narrow" places in technological processes. This is a reliable basis for making effective management decisions.
