RESOURCING AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES FOR SUNFLOWER PRODUCTION IN UKRAINE IN THE FUTURE
Анотація
Indicators of sunflower production in Ukraine are analyzed. Harvested area under sunflower has increased from 2.8 mln ha in 2000 to 5.1 mln ha in 2012; gross harvest has increased from 3.5 mln t in 2000 to 8.4 mln t in 2012. The main factors in the increase of sunflower production have become introducing modern growing technologies and a good selection of varieties and hybrids of the culture. In 2012 the agricultural enterprises produced 85.5% of the total volume of produced sunflower whereas the households – 14.5%.
The economic efficiency of sunflower production in agricultural enterprises (including farms) ofUkrainefor 2012 is analyzed. Profitability of sunflower production of enterprises located in the steppe zone was 43.2%, in the forest-steppe zone – 50.6% and in the Polissya zone – 48.8%. According to statistical data of 2010 - 2012 years authors developed mathematical models of demand and supply on the sunflower market inUkraine. Analysis of the models allows determining optimal demand and supply for sunflower on prospects. The methods of economic substantiation of program of sunflower production in agricultural enterprises ofUkrainefor 2016 are presented. Results of researches show that on the sown area of 3881.0 thsd. ha and an average yield of 2.11 t/ha enterprises ofUkrainecan produce 8.2 mln t of sunflower in 2016.
For obtaining the planned harvest of sunflower in 2016 agricultural enterprises will have need in fertilizers worth 3516.7 mln UAH, fuel – 3535.7 mln UAH, services of third-party organizations – 2038.6 mln UAH. The total need of cash funds will be 22.75 milliard UAH. Total costs for sunflower production in agricultural enterprises ofUkrainewill amount to 24.25 milliard UAH. Profitability of sunflower production of enterprises ofUkraineon the whole will amount to 37.8%.
