Formation of terminological competence of biotechnologists of agricultural and environmental sectors
Abstract
The article deals with the work system of formation of terminological competence during the study course "English for professional purposes." Principles of selection of professionally oriented texts are highlighted.
Attention focuses on the need to take account of the specific biotech specialty in developing techniques work of semantization terms. Methods and receptions of study of terminology vocabulary in teaching professionally oriented English are described in this article. The methods of terms semantization are examined. Based on the common system of exercises the author gives examples of tasks designed for students - biotechnologists, aimed at creating terminological competence.
