ALIEN WOODY PLANTS SPECIES AND THEIR INVASIONS IN THE FOREST-STEPPE OF UKRAINE
Abstract
The results of Forest-Steppe of Ukraine dendroflora analyze with determination their alien fraction is given. Among alien woody plants species the part with high invasive ability is extracted. In the whole, all of alien species with high possibilities to regeneration are considered as potentially invasive. Up to now the high level of invasive activity under the conditions of Forest-Steppe of Ukraine is diagnosed in 26 species from 22 genera: Quercus rubra L., Hippophae rhamnoides (L.) A. Nelson, Elaeagnus angustifolia L., Mahonia aquifolium (Pursh) Nutt., Morus alba L., Morus nigra L., Salix × fragilis L., Ulmus pumila L), Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill., Amelanchier spicata (Lam.) C. Koch., Amelanchier alnifolia Nutt., Rosa rugosa Thunb.), Rosa chinensis Jacq., Amorpha fruticosa, Cercis siliquastrum L., Robinia pseudoacacia L., Caragana arborescens Lam., Gleditsia traicanthos L., Acer negundo L., Syringa vulgaris L., Sambucus nigra L., Sambucus racemosa L., Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle), Phellodendron amurense Rupr., Tilia tomentosa Moench, Lycium barbatum L.References
