In article reviewed the practical aspects of usage of modern systemsof soil humidity monitoring on the base of online-stations iMetos®SM/ECHO/TNS/ECOD2, performed the evaluation of their operation in terms of speed, accuracy and reliability in the management of drip irrigation regime in comparison with tensiometer method (standard). Presented the incremental algorithm, principles and characteristics of soil moisture sensors Watermark 200 SS and Echo Probe (10 HS, EC 5), and also practical recommendations for the interpretation and usage of the obtained data. By experimental way determined functional dependencies between capillary potential (-kPa) and soil humidity of light loamy soil in percentage from minimum moisture-holding capacity (MMHC) for sensors of Watermark 200 SS and Echo Probe (10 HS, EC 5) types.
For automatic calculation of water balance, reference evapotranspiration Et0 and culture evapotranspiration Ets recommended using of application (subroutine) «IRRIMET». Was carried out a short-term field experiment on the diagnostics of irrigation by the means of Internet stations iMetos®SM / ECHO / TNS / ECOD2 and tensiometer method for determination of soil humidity for the corn grain culture. By the results of this experiment were not found significant differences in the modes of drip irrigation, total water consumption of plants and corn grain yield, that indicates the accuracy and reliability of previously performed calibration (gauging) (generation of functional dependence PS=f(W).
