The purpose of this article is to introduce landscape design professionals with the basics of space energy-information approach harmonization.
Dowsing method allows to determine the "energy" of a particular landscape features, ways (methods) of its optimization. This brings it to the teachings of Feng- Shui. This method has not received universally accepted scientific evidence yet. It is largely intuitive and subjective, but has been traditionally used in some areas of human activity for a long. The particular importance in the practice of dowsing has geogenic emission rating. This environmental factor significantly affects the people health, the plants condition and technical systems. The knowledge of this radiation characteristics in a particular area will help avoid the negative effect.
The main areas of dowsing method application in landscaping today we see in the preliminary assessment of the terrain, selecting sites for housing construction or people long-term stay, laying of utility lines and road network, determination seats for woody plants with regard to their relationship to the geogenic emission as well as optimizing the placement and form of architectural and other landscape elements. The complex energy-information expertise of both existing landscape, and design project is a promising but still undeveloped methodically direction. This will harmonize the space better.
