Abstract

Usingoptimal crude protein content in birds compound feedprovidesmetabolism normalization, productivity increase, enhancesmetabolism and increases theirresistance to adverse environmental factors.

The purpose oftheresearch is to study morphological and biochemical blood parametersofostrich female egg in the oviposition periodunder the influence of the fodder with different levels of crude protein. To conductthe morphological and biochemical studies, theexperimental birdswerefixed in the stall in the morningbeforefeeding andbloodwasfrom a wing vein.Thepuncturearea wascarefully disinfected with alcohol.

It has been experimentallyprovedthat hemoglobin concentration in female ostriches depends on the content of crude protein in animal feed composition duringtheoviposition. hemoglobin levelin the controlgroupbirds was 132.4 g / l.

Hemoglobin in the female ostriches bloodincreasesby 1.9%underusing16.0%ofcrude protein in animal feed. Asignificant increaseinhemoglobincontentin the blood of3rd research group birdsis revealed. The differencefromthe control was 6.7%. The highest hemoglobincontentwas in the 4th research group female ostrichesblood.Itprevailedthecontrol databy7.2% (r≤0,01).

It has been revealed that increasing crude protein content in fodderresults in changing red blood cells content. red blood cells contentinthecontrolgroupostriches was 1.67 t / l.Erythrocytes amountremained almost at the level ofthecontrolunderfeeding poultrywith thefeed containing 16.0%ofcrude protein. In the 3rd and 4th experimental groupsthe amountof red blood cells increased, respectively,by2.4% and 3.0%. However, this difference was notreliable.

The number of leukocytes in the research groups female ostriches blood had no significant differenceascompared with the control data.

The hemoglobin content in red blood cells increased depending on the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood. This indicator was 79.3inthe control group.Color indexwas0.7%.higher in the 2 nd experimental groupthan in thecontrol.

Hemoglobin content in red blood cellsog the3rd and 4th experimental groupbirdswas higher thanthatin the controlby4.1% and 4.0%. However, this difference was within the tendency.

It has been found outthat the increase of female ostriches productivity (egg production and egg weight)is accompanied withincreaseinaspartataminotranferazy activity in serum. Thus,in the 2nd experimental group activity of this enzyme was 2.4% higherasthan inthe control. In the 3rd experimental grouptheactivity prevailed benchmarks by 13.5% but the difference was notreliable.Increased activity of aspartate aminotransferasewas revealed in the4thresearch groupas well.

Atendency inincreased activityofaspartatamitransferazyinfemale ostrichesbloodserumisexplained by risingthe totalmetabolic status of birds in the experimental groups against the backdrop of consumption feedwithmore optimal crude protein content.

Similar results were obtained inthestudiesondefiningalanine aminotransferase activity in female ostriches serumblood.

Protein metabolismcanbe judgedaccording to the content of uric acid in the birds blood serum.Uric acidcontent in blood serumof the3rd experimental group female ostriches was1.1% lower than in the control indicating a high anabolic processes. Rising concentrations of uric acid in the blood ofthe4th experimental group birdsby2.2% confirms the excess of crude protein consumptionwith theforage.

Noreliabledifference was revealedinthe bloodserumoffemale ostrichesinthe creatinine content.

It has been experimentally proved thatinthebloodserumofbirds consumingfeedwith16.0%ofcrude protein (2ndexperimental group)thecontent of total protein was 6.9%higher than in the control. The tendency of increaseintotal serum protein in females ostrichesof the3rd and 4th experimental groupsis revealed. The reason for it canbethe factthat increase incrude protein content (in optimum doses)in the fodderresultsin its digestionincrease.

Conclusions. It is proved that the optimal crude protein content in female ostriches compound feed duringtheoviposition is 17.0%.

Feeding females ostricheswithcompound feedwithcrude protein content of 17.0% increasesreliablyhemoglobincontentin the bird blood.

Feeding layingbirds withfeed with optimal crude protein contentresults inincreased protein metabolism in the body of female ostriches, as evidenced by the tendency of increase in aspartate aminotransferaseandalaninaminotransferazeactivity. As well as intotal proteincontent increaseand decreaseinthe concentration of uric acid in the birds blood serum.
