The state and ornamental state of tree and shrub plantings on school territory in downtown of Vyshgorod has been investigated. Coralations between biometrical items and state of tree plants were defined.
Most effectively perform its functions, including sanitation, capable only green spaces in good condition [1, 2]. Therefore, determining the real state of tree and shrub plantings, identifying dependencies from the influence of various factors and finding ways to improve its remains are extremely relevant.
The aim of research - to identify and analyze the condition and ornamental state of tree and shrub plantings at the site of limited use - secondary school number 1 at the center of small town.
Materials and methods of research. Subject of research - tree and shrub plantings at the school site in Vyshgorod downtown. For analysis were used materials of inventory plantations at summer 2015. State and ornamental state of plantations were determined by visual assessment point scales [3]. Dendrologic, biometric and statistical research methods were involved.
Results. Was established that tree and shrub plantings at the school site consists of 28 species, including 20 species of trees and 8 species of shrubs. Quantitatively dominate tree plants Ulmus laevis L., Thuja occidentalis L., Tilia cordata Mill., Acer platanoides L., Populus pyramidalis Rozier., among bushes - Ligustrum vulgare L., Spiraea japonica L., S. Douglasii Hook. and Amorpha fruticosa L.
At the school territory dominated 30- and 60-years tree plants. The best condition and ornamental state has 40- and 60-years plantations, the worst - 20- and 40-years.
Dominated middle aged specimens of trees. Its average height varies greatly accordin to species and amounts from 3 (Thuja occidentalis, fruit) to over 12 m(Populus pyramidalis). Larger older trees Populus pyramidalis, Ulmus glabra, Acer pseudoplatanus, A. platanoides, growing in ordinary plantings along the perimeter of the site. Average state of stands close to satisfactory.
Was observed negative correlation between average mean of point of tree species and their average diameter (-0.491) and its height (-0.552), a high correlation (0.827) - between condition and ornamental state of tree plants.
Conclusions
Was established that tree and shrub plantings at the school site consists of 28 species. The best (good level) condition and highest ornamental state are characterized Populus pyramidalis, Betula pendula, Juglans regia. The worst condition (at satisfactory) and less ornamental state are observed Ulmus glabra, Malus domestica.
30- and 65-years tree plants are dominated. The best condition and ornamental state has 40- and 60-years plantations, the worst - 20- and 45-years. Average state of plantings at the school site close to satisfactory.
