TO THE ISSUE OF SUGAR BEET AND SUGAR PRODUCERS’ ASSOCIATIONS FUNCTIONING
Abstract
Investigated is the issue of sugar beet producers functioning according to organizational and legal forms of entities, including large agricultural companies. Determined are the main positive and a number of negative phenomena and trends in the functioning of agricultural holdings, which become an obstacle in the development of the agricultural sector in general and social development of rural areas in particular. It is noted, that agricultural holdings have already exhausted themselves and must leave the stage. The necessity of decreasing negative impact on the sugar market by oligopolistic structures in the form of agricultural holdings and other large owners is stressed; need for developing of farming, which under favorable conditions in Ukraine will improve the efficiency of agricultural production, including sugar beet is pointed out.
