Abstract. Semantic-syntactic structure of sentences with a numeral component in Latin, which determines the quantitative characteristics of creatures or specific objects has been analyzed, the content of valence potential predicate of quantity in the sentence structure has been substantiated; the sentence has been considered not only from the formal-grammatical, but also from the semantic point of view, which made it possible to combine syntactic constructions with quantitative meanings in Latin into one subtype; the sentence structures with a numeral component, which are complicated simple sentences, in which quantity predicate appears in the noun subposition (position of the compound subject), which is genetically primary and functionally secondary for the numeral have been differentiated; two-component, three-component, four-component, five-component, six-component, seven-component and eight-component varieties of semantic-syntactic structure of a simple sentence with a numeral component have been distinguished, and the means of their expression and features in semantic-syntactic sentence structure have been determined in the article.
