Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу урбаністичного середовища.  Розглядає новоєвропейські конотації у культурному бутті західного міста. Наскільки міське населення зростає, – чисельно, за простором, значенням і життєвим змістом – настільки й слабшає його безпосередня внутрішня єдність; одночасно з цим індивід отримує свободу діяльності більшою мірою, ніж її давала первинна ревнива замкненість, і стає своєрідним і винятковим, чому сприяє розподіл праці у групі, що розрослася.
