Abstract

Досліджуються процеси трансформацій в євро­пейському соціальному, культурному та мистецькому просторі, їхній взаємовплив, наслідки. Зосереджується увага на популяризації концепцій егалітаризму, розмежуванні сфери мистецтва на дві – високого та низького й, відповідно, високої аристократичної та низької народної культури. Процес, що відбувавсь в естетичній царині, тісно пов'язаний із змінами, які відбувалися в сфері політики, вплинув на заміну владної монархічної моделі управління на демократичну. Культурні транс­формації модерної доби спричинені поширенням ідеї рівності, популяри­зацією комуністичної ідеології та становленням її як цінності модерної культури. Сфера мистецтва, будучи найчутливішою серед усіх сфер до аксіологічних змін в соціальній палітрі, зреагувала внутрішніми змінами у сфері естетичного. В постмодерному світі аксіологічна система трансформується під впливом процесів глобалізації, віртуалізації, фрагментації життя.
