Eco-oriented approach in the training of social workers

The article substantiates the need to implement an environmentally-friendly approach in the process of training future social workers. Threats that may violate social stability are disclosed, in particular: the demographic situation in the world; environmental crisis; threats to food security; decrease in fresh water reserves; loss of health; rising unemployment and changing employment. The analysis of the Reports of the International Labor Organization «World Employment and Social Outlook 2018: Greening with jobs». The competencies that a modern social worker must have in order to implement professional green social work are highlighted.
