The basic measurements of moral responsibility and moral choice: things in common
Abstract
The article deals with the actualization of the problem of interrelation of moral responsibility and a moral choice. The main characteristics of moral responsibility and іndicators of a moral choice are lighted out. It is proved that the important role in regulation of moral responsibility and optimization of a moral choice belongs to moral values – system of person’s outlook which includes an estimation of all phenomena, events from positions of good and harm, gives the chance to correlate an act of the person with the standard norms and priorities which exist in a certain society. It is established that the person who is capable to do the meaningly choose of the way of behavior, taking into account possible consequences both for itself, and for others, is capable to bear responsibility for it.
