Genesis of the concept "autonomous learning.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of the genesis of the autonomy learning concept. The aim of the paper is a retrospective analysis of the concept of "autonomy learning", its development and formation. The article highlights the changes in the philosophy of education, language learning theory, political beliefs and points to the need to adapt to rapid changes in the technology, communications and employment and to recognize that the ability to learn is more important nowadays than knowledge.
