Abstract

The article deals with the study of the transformations of the phenomenon of tourism in the modern world under the influence of dominant tendencies - globalization, cross-cultural, informatization, ecologization, innovative development, transformation of the living space of everyday life and dialectical development of culture and formation phenomenon of symbolic consumption and screen culture. There was a new name for the designation of the modern world - a resort-type civilization. Tourism is a complex phenomenon with ambivalent directional manifestations.
