Conditions of a market economy determine the supply and demand for many services, there is a need for their own market. One of the institutions of civil law is service contracts. This is an extremely important group of contractual obligations, which include transportation, freight forwarding, power of attorney, insurance, commission, travel services, storage, information services, loan, credit, bank account, property management, payment for other services, etc. However, despite the reflection in the Civil Code of Ukraine of the peculiarities of the regulation of obligatory legal relations, the subject of which are services, there is a lack of theoretical and practical basis of contractual regulation of relations concerning the provision of legal services. Numerous changes in the legislation of Ukraine: The Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine is set out in a new wording, amendments to the Law of Ukraine «On Advocacy» create the relevance of the study of the topic of work. The ability to enter into a contract that has a clearly defined and enshrined in law structure creates a demand for such a structure, as the conditions set out in the contract are important for the parties.
Key words: service agreement, legal services agreement, legal aid agreement, representative, lawyer, defense counsel
