The article analyzes the impact of the legal provision of security of the state on its security and on assurance of the well-being of all members of the Ukrainian society. It is proved that any state establishes a security system based on its capabilities. Substantial contents of state security started a long time ago. But now, when a long process of economic transformation takes place, there is a sufficiently strong social stratification of society; rapid growth of the influence of the shadow economy is recorded; the internal contradictions between different segments of society and regions don’t decrease; «the legal definition of state security» will be filled with new meaning. In this paper the author investigated the aspects of ensuring security of the state.
Key words: security, state security, ontology, epistemology, dynamic approach.
