RESEARCH MOTION OF A PARTICLE ON THE INNER SURFACE OF VERTICAL CYLINDERS, WHICH PROVIDES ROTATIONAL AND TRANSLATIONAL MOTION

Abstract

Thedifferential equations of movement of a particle on an internal surface of the vertical cylinder which rotates round own axis are worked out. In turn all points of an axis of the cylinder carry out forward oscillatory rotation, describing thus horizontal circles. The equations are solved by numerical methods. Relative speeds and trajectories of particles are found.
