Abstract

The article investigates the problem of using the mix of rape oil and aviation petroleum as an alternative source of fuel for tractor diesel engines. The influence on the characteristics of such a mix, the changes in its composition and temperature were determined.

The optimum composition of the fuel mix and the influence of this composition and its heat value was determined. The heat calculation of the engine when working on the mix of different composition was conducted in order to determine the possible impact on the engine power.
