TOPOLOGICAL EQUIVALENCE OF FUNCTIONS.
Abstract
Topological equivalence of functions was studied by the language of alternating sequences. It is proved that for every piecewise-linear function with n-1 local extrema, there polynomial degree n, which is topologically is equivalent to this function.
