To perform band processing on each section of the unit, working bodies are fixed, designed to change the physical and mechanical composition of the soil. Changing the parameters of the placement of the working bodies due to the achievement of the goal - the appropriate quality of processing with an average transverse unevenness of the treated strips up to 15% in accordance with the method of cord elongation. The results of experimental studies of the dependence of the transverse non-uniformity of the treated strip on the change in the relative position of the front disc, chisel and side cutting discs of the section of the unit for strip tillage are presented.
According to the results of visual evaluation of processing quality, as well as measurements of the test strips, it was determined that the optimal distance from the axis of the front disc to the bit is 55 cm. The results of previous studies were confirmed, the distance from the bit to the axis of the cutting discs should be 50 cm. up to 27 cm. Further studies require a more detailed study of the influence on the transverse non-uniformity of changes in the configuration of the placement of the working bodies of the section of the unit for strip tillage, as well as energy performance indicators, such as fuel consumption.
