The purpose of the research: to analyse the process and technical characteristics of combine harvesters and to determine the relationship between the basic parameters of harvesters. The object of research is the operation of combine harvester. The subject of research is the relationship between the parameters of the combine harvester elements: the header, the threshing system, the straw wolker, the sieves.
The material moves in the combine harvester and has interaction with the working elements. The parameters of the previous elements have an influence on the parameters of the next elements of the combine harvester.
During the study of material feeding into the thresher there are established an expression to unite the parameters of the thresher, the header and the characteristics of the grain crops. The relationship between the main parameters of harvester elements is established during the analysis of the technical characteristics for modern grain harvesters according to information brochures of firms.
Results: the relationship between the basic parameters for elements of the modern combine harvesters.
