RESEARCH OF SIZE CHARACTERISTICS OF ONIONS GROWN UNDER DRIP IRRIGATION
Abstract
The paper presents the results of research of the size characteristics of onion varieties Globus grown on drip irrigation technology. The main problem of the vegetable production is the low level of technological and technical support in the industry. This problem practically is derived from the first, because modern technologies of cultivation of vegetables in open ground are based on full mechanization of process of cultivation, harvesting and post harvest handling of vegetables.
It should be noted that the domestic machineprofile do not produce agricultural equipment for the mechanization of the processes of growing vegetables. Equipment produced abroad and used in Ukraine for the collection of vegetables, not adapted for use in our region (depending on the soil type and physico-mechanical characteristics of the process material), which leads to poor implementation process.
The obtained results are a source of information for the development of new bitlike the working body for digging onions (justification of the distance between the bit and width bits to enable the excavation of the onion with simultaneous separation of the soil impurities).
