Abstract
Узагальнено літературні дані про походження курей, їх диких предків, час та місце одомашнення. Описано основні шляхи розповсюдження курей у світі. Наведена історія приручення курей та розвиток породоутворювального процесу. На підставі першоджерел показано зародження спеціалізації птахівництва.References
