Surgical method of treatment of dogs with otematomami by means of the compress of "Buster"

Abstract

Data on clinical trial of dogs of different breeds and age groups which have been accepted with an ear hematoma, with the diagnosis - an otogematom are presented in article. Otitises of a different etiology (60%), a mechanical injury of an ear (30%), autoimmune diseases, weakness of blood vessels are the most frequent reason). Surgical help was given for 2-3 day after a trauma. Treatments carried out by means of a special compress of "BUSTER". All animals have been divided into 3 groups: 1 control and 2 investigated.

In control group treatment wasn't carried out, the puncture of an otogematoma and removal of vmestimy by means of the sterile syringe with imposing of the pressing bandage was only carried out, - therefore healing didn't happen, and in 20 days observed consolidation cartilaginous tkani.i the studied group: 10 dogs – were carried out surgical treatment of an otogematoma by means of a kompresn of "BUSTER" with execution of "S" of a similar section and imposing proshivny "П" a similar ligature. In 20 days observed full healing of a wound without consolidation of cartilaginous tissue. The II studied group: 10 dogs - were carried out surgical treatment of an otogematoma by means of an obachny direct section and imposing the proshivnykh of seams with the bintovikh of rollers. Through 30 днів observed healing of a wound and consolidation хрящово ї fabrics.

Thus, use of a spets_alny kompresn gives the chance to refuse completely use of make-shifts and to restore structure of an ear for 15-20 day.
