  • Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring

    “Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring” is a professional, peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes cutting-edge research in the fields of land relations, land management, cadastre, land monitoring, land-use economics, and related interdisciplinary areas. We serve researchers, practitioners, and the policy and governance community who require evidence-based solutions, reproducible methods, and analytics capable of shaping contemporary policy and practice in the management of land resources.

    Scope and Focus

    The journal considers manuscripts that report original scientific results with clearly described methods, sound statistical/econometric data processing, and conclusions of theoretical and applied value. Priority is given to studies that:

    • propose new approaches, models, methodologies, and tools in land management and cadastre;
    • elucidate the economics and institutional architecture of land use and land markets;
    • analyse land policy, regulation, and governance (in national and international contexts);
    • employ spatial data, GIS/remote sensing, monitoring, and the assessment of land-use quality and change;
    • address sustainable development, ecosystem services, soil degradation, risks, and adaptation.

    We welcome both empirical research and methodological/synthesising papers that set the agenda and raise standards of evidence in the field.
