ENVIRONMENTAL CULTURE AS A FACTOR OF RAISING THE GENERAL CULTURAL POTENTIAL OF THE SOCIET
Анотація
The researcher of Russian and Ukrainian fertile earth V. Dokuchaev came forward for careful attitude toward black earth as to riches of humanity, and G. Morozov was the first who defined the forest as a geographical factor - global accumulator of sunny energy and introduced a concept “lungs of planet”.
Contamination of planet Earth happens as a result of both natural phenomena (volcanic mass effusion, forest fires) and artificial (the anthropogenic) phenomena (transport, productive, domestic).
The basic principle of ecological culture is social-natural relation as a unit, harmony of relations between nature and man of noosphere age. The definitions of the notion “noosphere” by philosophers and a theory of interaction between man and nature by V.I. Vernadskyi are given in the article.
Scientific and practical work of teachers and students in different spheres of ecology and biotechnology, cultural and educational activities on environment protection among the youth, ways of improving ecological culture are provided.
D.S.Lyhachov defines the notion «ecological culture» or «culture of ecology» as reasonable, humane attitude to natural resources and cultural acquisitions of humanity and value of them in maintenance of this "civilization phenomenon" for the good of all living on Earth.
