Organic production provides high quality products and environmental protection, as well as introduces a system of prohibitions and restrictions. For its distribution it is necessary to approve at a state-level the transition of basic procedures, including inspection and certification.

The group of indicators for the procedure of inspection and certification of farms on their suitability in organic agricultural production was defined.

It has been established that each stage of transition to organic farming production system should be characterized by specific events and some certain sequence.

Typical plan of transition to organic production of agricultural products and raw materials has been designed and it comprises the following steps:

General requirements are farm location towards to organic production zone; environmental conditions of accommodation facilities; type and amount of natural resources; analysis of production technologies; methods of disposal of wastes and by-products of production. The special requirements include requirements for sectors of production to be directed at ensuring production safety performance and product quality at each stage.
