DEVELOPMENT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS AT UNIVERSITIES OF UKRAINE

Анотація


Inclusive education - is the provision of educational services to youth with disabilities, ensuring their right to higher education with the creation in higher education environment adapted to their needs and capabilities.

Part of inclusive education is inclusive education.

Inclusive education of students with visual impairments - is a form higher education in the process of collaborative learning of students and healthy student provided the institution adapt to the capabilities and needs of students with visual impairments.

The purpose of the article is to identify existing problems of inclusion of students with visual impairments in terms of universities in Ukraine during the 1999-2012 years.

The problems of inclusive education of students with visual impairments in terms of the university are illuminated:

- the absence of a law on inclusive education in higher education;

- lack of coordination of scientific terminology in the field of psychological and educational research in inclusive education;

- lack of methodological and technical support for the learning process of students with visual impairments;

- lack of training high school teachers to work with students with visual impairments;

- the lack of a unified database formed visually impaired students studying in higher education;

- the lack of specialized equipment and software .

Solutions to these problems:

- revision of legal documents regarding inclusive education of students with visual impairments in addition to the documents governing the training of students in this category;

- aligning scientific apparatus in the field of education of students with disabilities (visually impaired);

- development of scientific methods of inclusive education of students with visual impairments in terms of the university;

- creating a technical basis, including special equipment and software;

- monitoring the number of students with visual and create a unified statistical database for this category of students and their nosology;

- seminars features of inclusive education of students with visual impairments for university professors;

- creation of a barrier-free environment in universities;

- locations orientation of these students in a university setting;

- adaptation of educational material to the needs and capabilities of this category of students.

Phased solution of these problems inclusive education of students with visual impairments in terms of university enable them to get higher education according to their characteristics and needs, promote social justice, overcoming the negative stereotypes that the inclusion of this category of students in society.
