Inherited realization of somatotypes cows of Holstein breed in an uterine period of forming

The results of research of features of forming of cows of Holstein breed are presented in an uterine period of ontogenesis. It has been established that the signs of early ontogenesis can be used to predict their future type constitution.

It was found that in the prenatal period of implementation are the distinctive features of hereditary qualities in the productive age cause different types of constitution animals.

Determined that heifers that are in the productive age small and medium type of constitution are born with greater 2.5 kg (P> 0.95) body weight, compared to other peers. This is achieved by higher increments of fetal weight by 8.0 g (P> 0.95) for the same length of prenatal development.

Signs of early ontogeny in the Holstein breed of cows can be used for prediction of future type of constitution.

Heifers, who in the prenatal period characterized by short duration and average development, with less intense growth and are born with a normal body weight, in the future are formed in cows with a wider volume ratio thoracic and live weight.

The evaluation and selection of heifers for signs of early ontogenesis can be used to create the desired type of constitution in herds.
