State material reserve of Ukraine: problems and prospects of functioning
Abstract
Purpose of the article - Justification of the concept of the state material reserve ofUkraine, research of problems and prospects of its functioning.
Research methodology. In the course of the research, the following methods were used: monographic - during the processing of professional literary sources and work with a textual presentation of the mentioned problem; systemic - to specify categorical apparatus; logical - to determine the positive social and economic effects, in order to summarize the results and form conclusions.
Research results. In today's conditions inUkraine, the need for a well-established system of state redundancy is especially felt in order to overcome the crisis and ensure national security. Consequently, it is necessary to continue the reform of the state reserve with the introduction of foreign experience, which will provide an opportunity to determine the optimal model of the state reserve, which will ensure the use of market mechanisms for regulating price fluctuations on petroleum products, metals, basic goods that form the basis of the development of industry in the country, and which will be directed to provision of strategic stocks of goods and cash resources.
Elements of scientific novelty. It is necessary to substantiate theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations regarding the functioning of the state reserve ofUkraine.
Practical significance. The main results of our study are an important prerequisite for solving issues related to overcoming the existing problems of the state reserve inUkraine.
