Abstract
ESTIMATION OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY
THE PROCESS OF AEROION TREATMENT
V. Mооzychenko
One of the effective ways to save energy is to reduce storage loss. Elimination of losses gives rise to an increase in consumption resources at a lower cost for additional production of the same volume of production
The technology of storing plant products with juicy tissues using ionized air using the measurement of the biopotentials of this product for determining and correcting its treatment regimes is an effective method of energy and resource saving.
The urgency of the work is the need to assess the energy efficiency of an electro coronal ionizer, as a working body for the processing of plant products.
The purpose of the study is to determine the energy performance of an electrocoron ionizer.
The estimation of the energy efficiency of the process of aeroion processing is carried out by determining the relationship between the energy that is expended on the actual process and that which is absorbed by the processing object.
Such an assessment is necessary for the calculation of equipment.
The method for determining the energy absorbed by the treatment object is based on the nonlinear dependence of the corona discharge current in air on its operating voltage and the linearity of the analogous dependence in the processing object that is located in the corona discharge field.
By direct measurements of currents and voltages during the operation of the ionizer and analysis of its equivalent circuits, the resistance of the processing object and the current flowing through it are determined. This is sufficient to determine the energy absorbed by the object during its processing in the corona discharge field.
Analytical dependences are obtained for determining the power consumed by the object of processing itself, the power taken from the network during the operation of the ionizer, both without the object of processing, and with the object of processing. These dependencies are illustrated by the corresponding drawings.
The ratio of power consumed by the object of processing to the difference between the power taken from the network at the work of the ionizer with the processing object and power that is selected from the network at the work of the ionizer without the object of processing is analogous to the efficiency of the ionizer. The dependence of this relation on the voltage applied to the electrodes is obtained.
An indicator characterizing the degree of energy absorption by the object during its processing in the field of the corona discharge and its dependence on the working voltage of the ionizer are determined.
