One of the reserves for increasing the wear of working bodies of soil-working machines is to consider when designing and choosing the technological parameters of working surface treatment of operating conditions for each soil and climatic zone of Ukraine. This is possible subject to the objective consideration of tribotechnical characteristics of the soil environment, which is impossible since these characteristics remain uncertain.
The purpose of the work is to develop a method for determining the characteristics of the soil environment as an element of the tribosystem "working organ - soil".
In the work the modern method of determination of tribotechnical characteristics of the soil environment is developed, which allows to determine the degree of fixing of abrasive particles in the soil, the coefficient of shape of abrasive particles and the effect of plant residues on the intensity of wear on the surface of the working bodies of soil-working machines. A method is also proposed that allows to determine the coefficient of friction of dispersed materials according to the indices of the electric motor of the laboratory installation.
The developed technique will allow to determine the tribotechnical characteristics of the soil environment and on the basis of their analysis:
- to take into consideration the definition of tribotechnical characteristics in the prediction of wear resistance of working bodies of soil-working machines;
- to give recommendations on increasing the wear resistance of working bodies of tillage machines during operation;
- to make a choice of technological and design methods of increasing the wear resistance of working bodies of soil-processing for each soil-climatic zone of Ukraine.
