Abstract

In the article discusses economic efficiency of studied elements of grain sorghum growing technology. For an integrated study of grain sorghum growing in conditions of the Left Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine was prepared flow charts with taking into account all costs of culture cultivation. Accordingly, all production costs for growing of grain sorghum were calculated by us at 2018 prices. Given that the use of fertilizers is a fairly significant item of expenditure, then, accordingly, calculations per unit area significantly depended on experiment scheme. At the same time, seeding rate, depending on the width between rows, did not make a significant contribution to the cost formation of cultivation, the differences were only with using grain sorghum hybrids of foreign selection. Studies have shown that fertilizer factor has the biggest economic impact on sorghum growing technology. After all, mineral fertilizers themselves are valuable and in minimal application we applied N60P60K60+N0, and in maximal application - N60P60K60+N60. That is, in both cases, introduction of the main mineral fertilizer needs 4.99 thousand UAH/ha of production costs, but for additional feeding N60, respectively, an additional 1.9 thousand/ha. Knowing the value of resulting products and the costs of grain growing is possible to calculate the profit from growing of this crop. Thus, growing of grain sorghum hybrids Brigga F1 and Burggo F1 with inter-row spacing 50 cm and use of nitrogen fertilizers in dose N60P60K60+N40 allowed to get 28.9 and 25.4 thousand UAH/ha, respectively.
