Abstract

Abstract. The enterprises of the chemical, petrochemical industry of Ukraine are significant sources of pollution of adjacent water bodies, which is primarily associated with the operation of physically worn and outdated systems for the disposal and treatment of industrial wastewater. Improving the environmental situation in industrialized regions requires a radical reconstruction of sewage networks, the inclusion of waste water treatment plants in the treatment plant for maximum reuse of waste water. Modern biochemical and baromembrane technologies make it possible to purify organic and some inorganic impurities from the balance excess wastewater of enterprises to the level of maximum permissible concentrations and below. However, modern after-treatment units require strict adherence to the quality of waste water at the entrance according to such indicators as temperature, active reaction of the medium, the content of abrasive particles and oil products. Deviation from the regulatory indicators can lead to the death of microorganisms, damage the surfaces of synthetic membranes and damage membrane modules. To prevent these negative phenomena, the task of introducing automated systems for monitoring and managing the quality of waste water at chemical plants is very important.

The aim of the study is to develop the concept of an automated system for monitoring and quality managing of waste water for information support and quick decision-making by the relevant services and workshops of enterprises operating process equipment and plant-wide sewage treatment plants, which include biochemical and baromembrane technological units.

The article discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of the implementation of such a system in a petrochemical plant. The main factors that can lead to emergencies in aeration tanks and baromembrane modules of wastewater treatment plants are investigated.
