Колективна пам'ять як чинник формування національної ідентичності

Abstract

В роботі обґрунтовується думка про те, що форму­вання національної ідентичності – це перманентний і цілеспрямований процес, який здійснюється на деякій «об’єктивній» основі – етнічній спадщині, яка зберігається завдяки колективному пам’ятанню, тобто перманентному відтворенню в суспільстві свідомості символів, ідей та соціальних практик, які забезпечують темпоральних характер спіль­ноти. Попри те, що колективне пам’ятання – це важлива складова колектив­ної пам’яті, яка забезпечує зовнішню та внутрішню ідентифі­кацію групи, трансльовані нею знання, особливо в сучасних умовах, виробляються під впливом різних, в тому числі й альтернативних, джерел інформації, які слугують засобами підтвердження власної оцінки індивідуальних споминів, які таким чином стають складовою колектив­ного пам’ятання, котре поступово доповнюється і підтверджується вибірковим використанням історичних подій та фактів, завданням яких є не тільки підтвердження дійсного стану речей, а й формування деякого образу спільноти завдяки підкресленню актуальних для сьогоденні подій та цінностей.
