It is claimed that a leader is a person who knows how to implement new things in a timely manner, changing the unproductive. On the basis of the conducted research, the personal traits of an effective leader are singled out, which include dynamism, sociability, receptivity, reliability, willingness to agree, etc. The conceptual approach to defining the phenomenon of leadership from the standpoint of a clinical paradigm (psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, developmental psychology, family system theory) is thoroughly analyzed, which, in turn, forms the basis for analyzing the behavior of people in teams and organizations. A special place is given to the cross-cultural study of leadership as a phenomenon, the conditions of implementation and characteristics of which are dictated by territorial, national, and regional characteristics. The significance of the emotional potential of the organization in achieving success is substantiated, the concept of emotional intelligence, emotional expression, and charismatic leadership is briefly revealed.References
