Abstract

The results of histoembryonal study of laying, formation further differentiation of the optic nerve in 75 embryos and fetuses of a man and 54 embryos and fetuses of a white rat in the state of normal embryogeny have been submitted. General regularity of the development of the optic nerve and its tunics in a man and in a white rat has been revealed. Congenital defects was formation of folds, «rosettes» of a retinaИ?s nerve layer, arrest of formation of neural tunics.
