Guidelines for Authors
1.
The collection accepts problem-oriented, generalizing, and methodological articles that present the results of scientific research with statistical data processing, which have theoretical and practical significance, are relevant to agriculture, and have not been previously published.

Authors are responsible for the originality (plagiarism) of the scientific article text, the accuracy of the facts, quotations, statistical data, proper names, geographical names, and other information provided, as well as for ensuring that the materials do not contain data that are not subject to open publication.

Authors consent to the collection and processing of personal data for inclusion in the database in accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI “On Personal Data Protection” dated June 1, 2010. The editorial board guarantees that personal data, except those publicly presented in the article, will be used exclusively for internal editorial purposes and will not be disseminated or transferred to third parties. Authors who are applicants for the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences, postgraduate students, and Master’s students must indicate their scientific supervisor.
Procedure for Submitting a Scientific Article
- An electronic package of documents must be submitted to the editorial board of the collection through the system:
https://journals.nubip.edu.ua/index.php/Zemleustriy/uk/submission
- The package should include:
- Information about the authors (Vidomosti_Ivanenko.doc)
- Scientific article (Paper_Ivanenko.doc)
- Extended abstract in English, up to 3 pages (Abstract_Ivanenko.doc)
- One review signed by a Doctor of Sciences and certified with the seal of the institution where the reviewer works
- After receiving and reviewing the scientific article, the editorial board will send the authors a notification by e-mail with an attached receipt.
- The final decision on publication is made by the editorial board, which also reserves the right to additional reviewing, editing, and rejection of scientific articles.
- Materials that deviate from the requirements below regarding submission and formatting will not be considered.
Requirements for Formatting a Scientific Article
- Articles must be 6–12 pages, A4 format, portrait orientation, margins – 20 mm, line spacing – 1,5, font size – 14, typeface – Times New Roman, paragraph indentation – 2 cm (only for the main text of abstracts and articles).
- Structure of the article:
- Line 1 – UDC (aligned left, bold).
UDC codes can be found here: http://teacode.com/online/udc/ - Line 2 – Title of the article (centered, bold, uppercase).
- Line 3 – Initials and surname of the author(s), academic degree and title, place of work (full name of the structural unit, bold italic), each co-author on a new line, centered.
- Line 4 – Authors’ e-mail addresses.
- Line 5 – Abstract (font size – 14, italic, line spacing – 1).
The abstract must be at least 150 words and should contain the main conclusions and results of the work. It may follow the IMRAD structure:
- Relevance – importance of the study
- Purpose – aim and objectives
- Methods – when, where, how the study was conducted; data and methods used; study group
- Results – main findings and outcomes
- Prospects – relation to other scholars’ conclusions, research perspectives, directions for further work, challenges
- Line 6 – Keywords (font size – 14, italic, line spacing – 1). They must be concise and reflect the content and specificity of the manuscript.
Abstracts and keywords will be checked to prevent technical translation by software tools, since manuscripts will be available online in bibliographic databases, information portals, and online libraries.
- Line 7 – Main text of the article, including:
- Relevance – importance of the study, existing problems, unresolved aspects
- Analysis of recent research and publications – brief analysis of previous studies
- Purpose of the study – aim and objectives
- Materials and methods – main methods and techniques applied
- Results and discussion – main findings of the study
- Conclusions and prospects – specific conclusions and future research directions
At the end of the article:
- List of References (no more than 8 sources), in order of mention or alphabetically, formatted according to DSTU 8302:2015. Citations in the text should be given in square brackets [1, p. 56; 7, pp. 45–51].
- References in English, formatted according to the APA standard (used for indexing in international databases). For transliteration of Ukrainian characters, follow the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution of January 27, 2010, No. 55; for Russian characters, use the BGN/PCGN system.
- Tables and figures must be in portrait format, with reasonable quantity.
- Tables: sequential number, title above the table (font size – 14, bold, line spacing – 1.5). Text in Times New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.5.
- Figures: single grouped graphic object, numbered and titled outside the object (font size – 14, bold, line spacing – 1). Figures must be placed in the text, contrasting, black-and-white or color. Scanned graphics are not allowed.
- Formulas (with standard numbering) must be created in Microsoft Equation.
- Automatic hyphenation and macros are not allowed. Paragraphs should be marked only with the “Enter” key; spaces or the “Tab” key must not be used. Condensed or expanded fonts are not permitted.
Lines 8–16 – Title, initials and surname of the author, abstract, and keywords provided in Ukrainian and English.
