1. General Provisions

The journal “Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring” publishes scientific and practical articles on land management, cadastre, land monitoring, geographic information systems, and natural resource management. We adhere to high standards of research ethics and integrity aimed at ensuring the reliability, transparency, and objectivity of scientific publications.

2. Authorship Policy

  1. Authorship is granted only to individuals who have made a significant scientific or practical contribution to the research, including:

    • defining the research problem and developing the methodology;

    • collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data;

    • preparing and editing the manuscript.

  2. Each author is responsible for their part of the work and for its accuracy.

  3. “Gift authorship” (honorary authorship) or exclusion of contributors who made substantial contributions (“ghost authorship”) is not acceptable.

3. Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal interests that could affect the objectivity of the work or its review.

4. Peer Review Policy

  1. The journal employs double-blind peer review, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

  2. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on novelty, scientific value, methodological rigor, logical conclusions, and quality of presentation.

  3. Reviewers must avoid conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality of the submitted materials.

5. Plagiarism and Research Integrity

  1. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, data falsification, or any form of scientific misconduct will not be accepted.

  2. All submissions are checked for plagiarism using specialized software.

  3. If ethical violations are discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and the authors’ institutions will be notified.

6. Open Access and Copyright

  1. The journal follows an Open Access policy, providing free access to all publications.

  2. Authors retain copyright to their work, while the journal receives a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the materials.

7. Corrections and Retractions

  1. In case of errors or inaccuracies in published articles, the journal issues corrections (corrigenda) or retractions according to international COPE standards.

  2. Decisions on retractions are made by the editorial board after investigating the facts.

8. Confidentiality

Information provided by authors and reviewers is kept confidential and cannot be used for personal or commercial purposes without written consent.

9. Compliance with International Standards

The journal follows the recommendations and standards of organizations such as COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), WAME (World Association of Medical Editors), and ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) regarding publication ethics and research integrity.
