The mitogen-stimulating effect of the milk phospholipids under in vitro experiments

The development of any disease causes pathological (inflammatory, dystrophic or degenerative) changes in cells. The severity of these changes depends on the reactivity of the organism, on the nature of the pathological influence and its duration, on the localization and distribution of the tissue changed area etc. A varied arsenal of medicinal agents is not enough focused on the repair of the structure and function of damaged cells, that is a serious lack of therapeutic schemes in the pathological states treatment. The main structural component of membranes are phospholipids, that’s why there is a reason to study the effectiveness of its use as agents for the reparative therapy, which are oriented on the recovery of the structural and functional state of the cell membranes and intracellular metabolism.
During in vitro experiment the proliferative that is regenerative effect of milk phospholipids in the form of the liposomal BAS FLP-MD in the peripheral white blood cells (lymphocytes) was investigated. For this purpose, the cultivation of lymphocytes of peripheral blood from healthy donors without the use of specific mitosis stimulators (for example phytohemagglutinin (PHA) was performed in control and research groups. In the culture medium of the research sample the FLP-MD BAS containing phospholipids was added.
The mitogen-stimulating (proliferative) effect of milk phospholipids in the form of the liposomal biologically active supplement FLP-MD on the peripheral blood cells of a donor was elicited during in vitro experiments. It confirms the phospholipids ability to accelerate reparative processes in damaged tissues. In other words, the specified biosupplement can be recommended as an agent for the cell reparative therapy.
