EXTENSION AS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT FACTORS OF INCREASING EFFECTIVENESS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION
Abstract
Anyone has no doubt about the importance and relevance of the existence of agricultural advisory services. Indeed, International experience confirms, that the activities of such services is a key factor in improving the efficiency and profitability of agricultural producers and sustainability of rural communities.
In the agricultural sector of economy of Ukraine advisory services are given insufficient pace. Despite the obvious utility, advisory activities do not have adequate institutional support, high qualified staff, organizational and economical mechanism of implementation. Network of extension services are not comprehensive, and their work is not systematic. In addition, a significant number of businesses are not aware of the existence of advisory structures, their possible forms and the benefits of cooperation with them.
