AGRARIAN RISKS: WEAK AND PROSPECTS
Abstract
In international practice, one of the main instruments of the management of risks associated with the influence of natural forces on the agricultural industry is agricultural insurance. Insurance makes it possible for agrarians to estimate decrease in income volatility, associated with fluctuation of prices of agricultural products as the result of natural climatic conditions, taking into account individual natural characteristics of a particular territory of the country. In the modern period of the development of Ukraine the urgent issue is to develop and introduce measures of mitigation of impact of climatic changes on the agricultural sector, taking advantage of foreign practices.
