Abstract
Abstract. A brief analysis of legal acts and literary sources characterizing the forest-melioration influence of linear forest protection plantations on highways and adjacent territories is performed in the article. The distribution of the length of highways general use according to their value in the conditions of Western Polissia (based on the example of Rivne and Volyn regions) is given. The attention is paid to the peculiarities of the distribution of the length of roadside forest strips in the process of protection of highways of state and local importance.References
